How to Make Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

  1. Blend until smooth, add fresh strawberries, cold water, and strain into a blender, puree until smooth.
  2. If there are pieces, remove them. Use a fine strainer to strain this mixture into a pitcher or container.
  3. Finish it off. Add honey, lemon juice, and then stir until well combined.
  4. Serve strawberry lemonade with ice cubes.

Strawberry fruit is a fruit that is rich in antioxidants, these are known as polyphenols which provide great benefits for the heart. The benefits of polyphenols are lowering bad cholesterol levels and increasing good cholesterol (HDL) levels in the body.

The way in which strawberry lemonade benefits the heart is by reducing or relieving inflammation in the body. Its antioxidant content can reduce chronic inflammation in the body.

Inflammation in the body is very dangerous because it can cause a variety of more serious diseases, among the health problems that occur due to severe inflammation are stroke, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease.

Is Strawberry Lemonade Safe to Drink Everyday?

Strawberry lemonade is safe to consume every day but we do not recommend it. You can consume in small or medium levels for two or three days. Even if it is safe, you are not recommended to drink it all days.

Drinking too much lemonade is also known to cause heartburn, even cause nausea, and even vomiting in some people. So, you don’t have to drink it every day let alone every time.

This is a drink rich in vitamin C, and you need to know that excess vitamin C alone is not good for health. Some say that drinking it every day is still safe as long as you don’t drink up to 10 cups per day.

So, to be safe, we think you can try it every two days with a cup or two. Drinking regularly will provide health benefits, and this is better than drinking in large quantities but only occasionally.

How to Store Strawberry Lemonade

The best way to store strawberry lemonade is in jug and store it in an airtight container. You can store it in the refrigerator or freeze it for future use.

Strawberry lemonade will keep nice and fresh for a few weeks or at least a week in the refrigerator. If you want to keep it longer, then just freeze it in the freezer.

To make your own strawberry lemonade, prepare your ingredients and follow these steps.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh strawberries
  • Honey as much as 1/3 cup or according to taste
  • ¾ cup of lemon juice
  • 4 cups cold filtered water
  • ice

Instructions:

Put the water in the blender and put the strawberries in the blender. Run the blender at high speed until the strawberries are smooth.

Strain this liquid using a fine-mesh strainer

Add honey and lemon juice, stir until well blended and serve over ice cubes.
